My work stems from a documentary approach that is intuitive and visceral. It is led by my fascination with human behavior, cultural and psychological identity and the contrasts that divide the world through opposing beliefs and traditions. Central to my practice is the assimilation of individual ideas that merge and reconfigure to enable the expression of a unique narrative. Through experimentation with technical constraints and specific approaches I seek what lies below the surface, unnoticed and often ignored. I'm interested in developing a visual language that sits in limbo, betwixt and between, blurring the boundaries of genres, modes, disciplines and realms.
